Does a spanking comfort you?

Does a spanking convict you?

Or...

Does a spanking rush you?
Does a spanking push you?
Does a spanking frighten you?
Does a spanking confuse you?
Does a spanking discourage you?
Does fear of a spanking worry you?
Does fear of a spanking obsess you?
Does a spanking condemn you?

Whose voice, therefore, does a spanking sound most like? 

"But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. 

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law.

Galatians 5
